I am an amateur photographer and digital artist. I have been taking photos and doing my art pieces since 2001.

I love the medium of photography because it allows me to share the world as I see it. I shoot mainly nature, animals, architecture, etc.

My art is done using Adobe Photoshop. Most of the base images are photos that I shoot myself and then later manipulate. When I am out shooting I know when I take a photograph if it will be for the photo's sake or to turn into digital art. When using Photoshop to manipulate an image I try to keep the process "organic" by not concentrating too much on the process but rather tweaking until I feel it is finished.

As I move forward, I hope to become more technically proficient with my camera to be better able to capture my vision. I plan to experiment with macro photography more. I want my art to continue to be freeform but hope that I can better control my base images so that the central figure pops more.
